Christmas looks different for me this year. My water broke at 8 months pregnant, and I was rushed to St. Joe’s for a surgery that saved my baby’s life—and mine.

It was a terrifying and humbling experience that forced me to hit pause on everything, including parts of my life I thought I could always juggle.

This year, I’ve learned the importance of slowing down, putting social media on hold, and reassessing what really matters. The spirit of Christmas isn’t in how much we do or share—it’s in the moments we hold close and the people we cherish.
