“Until I Get You” is a rollercoaster of emotions and dark twists that had me hooked from the start. Claire Contreras weaves a tale of love, obsession, and revenge that is impossible to put down. Lachlan Duke, with his irresistible charm and talent on the ice, is used to getting what he wants—except when it comes to Lyla James Marichal. Her mysterious and aloof nature sets her apart, making Lachlan’s pursuit all the more intense.

The first half of the book gives us a peek into their college days, filled with fiery passion and fleeting moments that span just six weeks. Fast forward three years, and the tension between Lachlan and Lyla is palpable. Lachlan’s quest for answers and retribution creates an electrifying atmosphere.

Although some parts felt a bit lengthy, I didn’t mind, especially since I enjoyed the audiobook. And let’s be honest, Joe Arden’s dreamy voice can make any story captivating.
